I run a market research for my company to be, Wildcat. Wildcat will be a legal database tailored to non lawyers. So I wanted to understand, first, if people use the internet when they have a legal issue. But I also wanted to find out where they look for legal info and if they are satisfied with what they find.
I designed a survey and spread it on the internet, mostly via social media. I focused both on lawyers and non lawyers, in and outside Europe. I also left people free to provide open end answers which in the end, showed very interesting insights.
I collected 77 answers, and made the results publicly available, here. A short report on what I found out is on progress. In short, people are not satisfied with the legal info they find on the internet, especially if they are not lawyers.
